Maria Cortes Ramos
Maria J. Cortes Ramos discovered her passion for personal injury law by chance, quickly recognizing the profound difference she could make in people’s lives during their most uncertain moments. With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Legal Studies, Maria’s diverse professional background spans social services, sales, case management, and litigation.
Maria finds the greatest reward in her work when she helps personal injury victims—particularly seniors—regain autonomy. She approaches client relationships with empathy, compassion, confidentiality, and professionalism, which is crucial given the sensitive nature of personal injury cases.
One of Maria’s proudest professional moments came early in her career when she managed a challenging case from pre-suit to litigation. Despite skepticism from her colleagues, she successfully advocated for her client, leading to a favorable settlement. As a certified Public Notary, Maria also brings additional expertise to her role.
Teamwork is essential in her field, and Maria values communication, understanding, and effort as key components for successful collaboration. Outside the office, Maria enjoys a simple life filled with cycling, traveling, and spending quality time with her partner and two dogs.
